The Centre offers training courses for professionals in the use of the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) for diagnosis and assessment. This schedule was developed by Lorna Wing and Judith Gould for use at the NAS Lorna Wing Centre for Autism as both a clinical and a research instrument.

In addition to training in the use of the DISCO, this course also offers an introduction to the complexities of autism spectrum disorders and their diagnosis.

DISCO training is offered at the NAS Lorna Wing Centre for Autism. Courses have also been run in Europe, Asia and Australia. The DISCO has been translated into Japanese, Swedish and Dutch.
