Carole Murray

Centre Manager

Carole Murray is the Centre Manager: together with Lorna Wing and Judith Gould, she helped set up the service at the Centre and has been part of the team since 1991. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre and also supports the families and liaises with the funding authorities.

She is the first point of contact for any enquiries regarding the DISCO training as well as being part of the DISCO training team. She is responsible for organising and co-ordinating the courses both in the UK and overseas.

Previously she worked at a School of Nursing within the NHS as secretary to a number of specialist teams covering biological sciences, health education and learning disability.
