This research aims to find out how young people with autism (aged 16-25) see themselves, including their body, their sexuality and their social networks. These networks may contain family, friends, youth workers, and other people who are important in their lives.

The researcher, based at the University of Reading, is also interested in finding out about the use of technologies such as the internet, mobile phones and assistive devices, in order to understand how these help people with autism manage their online and offline social networks.

Participants will take part in a discussion lasting approximately one hour. This can take place online or face-to-face. The researcher may also ask if they can accompany you to social events which you think are important, and if they can interview someone else who is important in your life. This will help the researcher better understand your social networks.
