Researchers at the University of Cambridge are looking for people aged 18-45 with a diagnosis of high-functioning autism or Asperger syndrome and/or a diagnosis of schizophrenia to take part in research looking at the relationship between these conditions.
Recent evidence from a number of angles has suggested that there may be some relationship between the two conditions, in which some symptoms are shared while others are very different. It does not mean that having one condition puts you at risk for the other.
Research participants will complete a series of four computerised tasks, split across two sessions. There are also two computerised questionnaires, and one task using a pen and paper, which involves completing patterns.
Participants can withdraw from the study, or ask that their data is not used. You will still be paid.
