The New York Marathon is a world-class event, attracting thousands of top athletes, keen amateurs and charity runners every year.
With more than two million spectators lining the streets of New York, from the start on Staten Island to the finish in Central Park, you're bound to have the run of your life.
New York is big, brash and exciting, and its marathon is the same. You'll run through a melting pot of ethnic and cultural influences as you leave suburban Staten Island, run through Brooklyn and Queens before crossing into Manhattan, passing through the Bronx and finishing in Central Park.
The crowds are the best, the loudest, the most fun. Put simply, they're New Yorkers!
