We help inform government policy and legislation on issues that affect people with autism.
We provide evidence to committees and respond to consultations at the National Assembly of Wales on issues that affect people with autism and their families.
Read more about our work with the Northern Ireland Assembly, including our consultation responses.
We play an active role in raising awareness of autism in the Scottish Parliament. We work with Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs), give evidence and write briefings, hold annual parliamentary receptions and co-ordinate an Autism Parliamentary Network.
The National Autistic Society (NAS) would like to invite MPs' researchers and constituency case-workers to the Researchers' Refuge at this year's Conservative Party Conference.
In this area, you'll find information about legislation and debates relating to autism and Asperger syndrome, and about the All Party Parliamentary Group on Autism (APPGA), which campaigns in Parliament for greater awareness of autism.
