Much of our campaigning work focuses on making sure that people with autism can get the services and support they need.

Through our legal campaigning work we intervened in a court case known as X v T to try to make sure that protections currently offered by the Disability Discrimination Acts for people with disabilities which affect their behaviour were fully recognised in case law.  Although the Court did not recognise the particular point of law, we are working with the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Special Educational Consortium to clarify the law further so that people with autism continue to have these protections where they have behaviour that challenges.
